Senior Director of Engineering · Tekion · Architect of ORBIT
I build AI dev productivity at scale — and the measurement framework that doesn't depend on AI lineage or surveys.
Currently Senior Director of Engineering at Tekion, architecting ORBIT across 3,500+ repos and 1,400+ engineers. Augment Code's December 2025 customer feature independently documented a 60% reduction in merge time (3 days → 1 day) and +21% MR volume at the same headcount.
ORBIT's sub-systems: DeepContext (graph-augmented RAG over Jira, Confluence, code, PRs), Central (agentic orchestration with sandboxed execution), AIR (anomaly detection + RCA + auto-fix; ~70% incident-triage reduction), and CPI (Composite Productivity Index — measurement framework introduced in a paper in development).
Twenty years building large-scale platforms; ~15 of them in ML, search, and AI. Yahoo!, Jabong, Flipkart (doubled ads revenue, Best People Manager 2018), Amazon (Recommendations and Personalization). Founding team of what became Whatfix (2010, left after 13 months before product-market fit).
I write about AI-native developer productivity at scale — the builder + leader + measurer angle in one voice.
Bay Area · originally Bangalore.
